Ice walk: (frost burnt hands)

Hips at the Bus Stop:

I went for a walk down the beford hightway to see the waterfalls I glimpse through the bus window every morning. I usually walk down the sideway often during the summer, but this time of year it's exposure to the open harbour makes blustery and biting cold. The small sidewalk is a narrow passage way between a four lane highway and a heavy steel guard rail. Out of reach, well beyond the fence is the sheer rock face. It must be where they cut into the bedrock when building the railway which runs by the shore, or maybe the later highway.
Any water running toward the sea near there reaches the face and falls down and it trapped in a deep ditch below the sidewalk. In the winter, despite feeling so close to speeding cars, it is a spectacular walk.

Near the start of the walk:

Water always travels back toward the sea
