Have patience watching this video, it takes a sec for them to get to the Aurora Borealis. At the end they point out a huge impact crater on the earths surface. The commentary is fascinating.
Pluto got the boot, I guess Xena won't become a planet after all. Click here to read a news article. Also you must check out the month in space pics halfway down the righthand side of the page on this link(it's under slideshow). They are beautiful and awe inspiring.
Thanks for droping off the photos, Sarah. This one reminds me of my mothers cosmetic books from the eighties. I'm an autumn ;P
I modeled for Sarah Fawson in last years wearable art show. These photos were taken by Chris Melanson, and showcase some of the garments she made for the WAS and The Off the Wall show. The top two pieces are related to puppets and childhood. Sarah dyed, printed, AND quilted the fabric for the first and second garment below.
She's now on her way to New York where I'm sure she's going to have a wonderful semester abroad. Yeay Sarah!
Artist. I am a student at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, and I work mostly in time based art and textiles. I also love to bake.
